History
I perches the 1200 coupe in 2008 from its second owners. I had been originally brought for the gentleman’s daughter as a daily drive but was later converted into a hill climb car for her as several members of the family raced. Apparently she had some success in the N.S.W. hill climb circuit. All though it did run it had been in storage for about 10 years. I originally had the intention of giving it a tidy up running it in hill climbs myself. But due to the length of time it was in storage the engine and break seals went and it needed a full rebuild. So I’ve decided to do a full restore.
Modifications
A14 motor, ported GX head with over size inlet vales, Twin Hitachi S.U. style carburettors, header exhaust, G60 5 speed gear box, Datsun 200B front struts and twin piston disk breaks, Maddat break booster and master cylinder.
