This V W microbus was purchased from the original owner approximately28 years ago.It was in surprisingly good original and complete condition.Because of its good overall condition we used it and drove it for many years as we found it,taking it to many events and shows around the country.The bus attracted attention wherever we took it because of it amazing originality.We decided to give the bus a complete restoration about two years ago and we are extremely happy with the result.A lot of attention has been given to restore the car to exact original condition apart from the aftermarket wheels.The original wheels are restored and can be installed to achieve a total original look if required.
Modifications
The original 1500 engine has been upgraded to slightly larger 1776 capacity. A mild cam fitted to give slightly more power for highway cruising.
