History
Actor Paul Giamatti (in Brisbane) admiring my 1967 Morris Cooper S 'Works Rally Tribute'. This Cooper S is set up as a tribute (not a replica) to the BMC Works Rally minis of the 1960's. After considerable research and assistance from Bill Price, Gerald Wiffen and Peter Bartram, all ex-BMC Competitions Department members from the 1960's, and having spent five years obtaining the correct fittings for the car, all was lost when a bushfire in January 2013 destroyed my home, garage and the 33 EJB replica project. This car, which inspired me to "go one better" and build an exact replica, was saved from the garage minutes before the fire reached the garage burning it down with a 1963 Morris 850, a 1968 MGB automatic and a 1991 Ducati 900SS still inside.
