History
Vehicle was picked up as a rusty old wreck from western NSW property by my father with intentions of using it in a memorabilia type museum. He later gave the car to me and my family as we said we would restore it. We pushed solid for two years to get it ready for our daughters formal in 2018. We managed to finish the build with 48 hours to spare. Being a 1951 model it is the first year Holden officially built a ute and has a reasonably early body number. It is running original motor with matching numbers, It is as close to original as possible bar a couple of mild changes. Still running lever arm shockies and narrow springs
Modifications
Only thing changed on this vehicle from original design is the colour scheme, added indicators for safety and converted to 12v instead of 6v
