History
Got the car off a bloke who was selling it on his deceased grandfather's behlaf. Car has been in their family for about 35 years. When i got it, it was in need of a full restoration and had a black vinyl roof which was dealer fitted. The grandkid tried to start a restoration, but the result wasn't very good. Thankfully, I got hold of the car and was able to return it to its former glory, painting it in its original silver fox colour. All the interior was re-upholstered and the dash and dash face were revamped. New bumpers and other little fiddly bits. I've left the original 3.6 221 straight six in him (which has 77,000 original miles), as I prefer an original car. The 3 speed manual was overhauled to make it as good as new.
Overall, i wanted to restore a classic Falcon as my dad has done in the past. I love the car and have spent a lot of time and money on him. In the pictures you can see what he looks like now, and what he looked like when I picked him up.
Cheers!
Modifications
Only mod is the GS hubcaps, I still have the originals tucked away. Apart from that, he's completely stock from factory.
