History
I bought this from a work mate and whilst it was in ok condition, it needed lots of work which I spent the next couple of years on. In the end it was a beautiful car that turned heads everywhere it went. Having spent so much time and effort getting it to where it was, I was too scared to take it anywhere and as I needed the transport I ended up selling it for something more practical. WHY!
The car was sold to a member of the TTG golf club for his son to drive. I don’t know what became of the car but I hope it’s still out there somewhere getting about.
Modifications
I rebuilt the car from the ground up, replacing suspension, reupholstering the interior, and re spraying the exterior in 2 pac. I had the engine reconditioned, blue printed and balanced, a mild Crow cam fitted and a stainless 2" dual exhaust fitted. After all this work the car looked and sounded great for a 6 and went ok. From memory it was dunked and just under 180 HP at the rear wheel but as it was only ever a cruiser that was fine. All this was done in the late 80’s. I sold the car around 1990 for a grand sum of $9,750. :(
