History
I bought this car from my old High School English teacher, Mr. Crannaford. He was a highly intelligent and thoughtful teacher, and he drove his beloved Humber to work everyday from Fullarton to Campbelltown. From the moment I sat in the back seat and messed around with the beautiful veneered picnic tables with my fellow students, while we were cruising down to La Mama theatre to see the TW classic: The Glass Menagerie, I knew I had to have this car. It took me a few years later, but Mr. Crannaford sold it to me for a bargain price. I had the engine rebuilt from scratch, but later on I knew that I could not do the restoration justice, so I sold the car to two brothers from regional SA who wanted to give it to their Dad, following an accident he had in his own Humber. I still miss this car, and what it might have become. J
