History
This delightful 190SL was car was discovered in Michigan USA in 1999 by an employee of McQuarie Bank, who was stationed in their New York officie at the time.
He purchased as a retirement project and dispatched to Brisbane, where it was carefully stored for another 16 years, until 2015. Upon retirement, the owner deciced that he really did not have the patetince or the skill to undertake a full concourse resotation, so decided to sell the car.
Jeffg Edwards, a serious classic care enthuisiast and restore purchase the car and took it Perth. Overt the following years, and with the help of Paul Irving, the ex-head body resoter at Silchester Garage, London and German supremo-mechanic Klaus Krantz, rebuilt the car completely, restoring or replacing every last nut and bolt until it rreach the level of perfection she is today.
Modifications
The car is 100% original apart from modern muti-spark electronic ingition and a 123 programmable Distributor, both of whcih are fully reversable for concourse events.
