Originally purchased from Byron Bay, then driven to Cairns to start restoration/modification.
Have owned the vehicle for 8 years now and has been back on the old since Easter this year
Modifications
VT commodore floor pan, chassis rails, to 4 link suspension.
Shortened VS 3.08 LSD on the rear with a V6 conversions front end, carrying VS hubs providing a functioning ABS through VT front calipers.
Wheels provided by Foose, 17x7 and 17x10 running Khumo tyres.
Vn fuel tank increased to 110litre capacity fuelling the VT clubsport 195i stock 5litre and 5 speed gearbox. Cooling provided by a modified VT radiator and thermo fans, and a universal radiator for the air con.
VT commodore cruise control is tucked under there somewhere too, enabled by the VT wiring harness which the relays and battery sit under the tray behind the drivers bulkhead. This also allows the use of pre tensioner seat belts and a VT steering wheel air bags sitting on the VT collapsible column.
Sat Nav and Bluetooth by Pioneer, with Morel 2 ways splits making noise and a kicker L7 10" subwoofer.
Hand made solid tonneau with a waterproof fabric and all finished off with the generous help of 7 cows throughout the car.
