History
I purchased this car new in November 1970. Built July 1970 Sydney, colour Jet Red Mono.
It was traded in for a new larger car in 1975.
The car spent most of its life in Nowra NSW which is where I was stationed in 70's, 80's & 90's.
One of its owners used it as his daily drive for 13 years after which it was taken off the road for restoration but sat idle for 20 years.
The car was later purchased by a couple from Cessnock who started the restoration during which they found the original paperwork & found me via Facebook.
I re-purchased the car from them in 2018 & completed the restoration in Oct 2020.
Modifications
The only modification has been the fitting of electronic ignition & engine rebuilt to 1310cc. Other than that the vehicle is standard with all parts used in the restoration are genuine.
