Modifications
Originality was an important factor in the restoration of this motorcycle. Original parts were sourced at substantial expense all over the world. eg. correct carby from USA for a cost of $1,300 plus postage. There are only 2 repop. items in the bike that I could not source in original. The motor was completely rebuilt (virtually everything in it) by Ollie, a renowned Harley engineer in Brisbane at a cost of about $10,000 for parts and labour. The gear box was purchased rebuilt from Steve of VL Heaven in England at a cost of $3,500. The paint code was obtained after 12 months research from the USA.
