History
I bought this as my first car in December 2013 after walking past it at a dealership on a whim. I fell in love the first time I saw it and it strayed me away from my automotive fetish at the time- the Ford Probe. I gave her the name Sabrina. The ST24 is a rather rare car in Australia and I’m all but certain that mine is about the only one that is daily driven by a P-plater. It is the perfect mix of performance and style, mixed in with a bit of a collectability factor as they are the first ST Fords ever made. In the 9 months I’ve owned her, she’s brought me immense pleasure and I doubt many other cars that are P-plate legal would be as fun to drive.
Modifications
The intake area has been increased as well as the floor of the airbox being removed too. A K&N performance filter has also been fitted to it. My favourite addition to her is the MPH dash cluster from the Europe-only ST200 Mondeo. A touch screen head unit and a 1000W subwoofer are also going into her.
