Membership also to the Western Vehicle Restorers Club (WVRC) and being awarded the 1993 & 1994 Vehicle of the Year.
Due to relocating to rural Victoria I obtained membership to the South Coast Sports Car Club (SCSCC) and car is now used for events with this club.
Modifications
In the 1960's a UK company "Ashley Laminates" produced fibreglass car bodies and also fibreglass conversion components for UK manufactured Sports cars, the Austin Healey Sprite was very popular at the time, as were numerous other model sports cars, Ashley Laminates made Hardtop's, Bonnet's, etc, for many of them and the AshleyGT Sprite was one.
I decided in 2016 to obtain the parts for my Sprite and I modified and converted it using them to an "AshleyGT Sprite", this complements the original restoration and is still a 1960's car and modification.
