Memories
It was in the '60s and as recent migrants to Australia we didn't actually own a vehicle, however Dad was a mechanic at Berryman's Garage and had access to a company car, a 1950's Ford utility. This was great for getting Dad to and from work and picking up spare parts, but was no good to take Mum and us 3 kids out for a drive. So every now and then Dad would bring home one of the client cars he was working on, most of them where nondescript sedans, but this one weekend he bought home a Roller. Well, we must have clocked up 200 ks that weekend, and the looks Mum got putting her shopping in the back where hilarious. Wouldn't happen today of course (and the photo supplied is not of the actual car) but I remember we had one fantastic weekend cruising all over Perth
