History

designed in 1989 , build commenced in 1991 by Richard Holzl (Sydney) .... from 1991 to 1996 I watched the build of this awesome car (then known as "Dak To The Future") through the "build progress" articles in various VW magazines , but this all went quiet in early 1997 after the car was CAMS logbooked as a Sports Sedan , and the car just disappeared .... some 14 years late (December 2010) Richard made contact with me to see if I was interested in purchasing what was left of the car (and there was not much left at all) .... I purchased this car as an incomplete project and after a 5.5 year build I turned out one very quick VW Sports Sedan .... this vehicle has just been completed at WPVW in preparation for circuit racing & Hillclimb racing , after a 25 year build time ....
