History
Owned the VS for a number of years and was my main build.. bought it as an auto and thats where the mods started, the auto was on its way out so the manual went in, later on i had it dynoed and it did poorly so it was time to do and engine, built an engine and over the last 2 years the car was completed september 2011.
Modifications
The VS was built with a na V6, the engine had all race series parts, including a stage 2 comp cam, port and polished heads and all the internals to with stand punishment of any kind.
As a signwriter the top half was wrapped in vinyl to crate the old school look of the VH sl/e, the wheels were of the VE ssv and had matte black vinyl on the face to be different to all the rest, i built the exhaust all at home in the shed along with the engine, this car was all build at home by myself and a few good mates...
the vinyl was supplied by the Illawara Tafe, NSW. in the signcraft department where i did my trade. it was a 3M product which worked well an created great results.
I'v owned a few Commodores and the VS was my favorite and much missed car that i sold to get the XU6.
