I bought this tonner around 10 years ago and ended up selling it to a mate of mine.After he had it for about 6 years and did nothing with it i ended up buying it back.it originally had a 253, trimatic and 10 bolt.i wanted something that looked good and i could also drag race when finished so decided i would go a big block chev.i bought a 454 short rebuilder and took it to my engine builder and $30,000 later have a blown 496 with extensive go fast bits.i now have a 35 spline ford 9 inch diff in the tonner.i still have a few things to do to it like finish interior including roll cage,racing seats and harnesses.also custom dash with autometer guages.i also have to set up the rear end better to get traction so probably a ladder bar set up.its a work in progress but its well worth the cost and many hours of working in the shed
