History
Bought as a restoration project in Sydney in 2013, 7 cylinders working, oil everywhere , flat tyres and batterys, Rust in guards and seams , faded paint, torn upolstery and rip roof... Why did I buy it?.... .It now has new soft top . upholstery ,customed dash, engine ( fixed) new cam and lifters etc ,new electronic ignition and adjustable mapping and gas adjustable suspension. Restored paint and remove all rust and restored Simmons wheels. AI guy chased me down the other day who worked on the car in 1987, he was an apprentice panel beater and told me that the car was built by Kingsford Garage in Sydney , he said the engineering was done by Kevin Bartlett (Engine, gearbox , diff and brakes etc..?) and it has a worked engine and was first auto transmission and Torana dif. but after a year was changed to Supra 5 sp gearbox .
Sounds interesting looking for more info. If anyone knows more about the car I would be happy to here from you.
