Purchased due to a few too many bourbons and the old man on the phone encouraging me. Wanted to see how the engine conversion was done to do the same conversation to a 2103 Lada Sedan.
Ran really lumpy when cold but OK when warmed up. Revved hard and would pull away form a GTS-T Skyline going uphill.
Eventually blew head gasket and found 1 lumpy cam and 1 stock cam in the engine. The second lumpy cam was in the boot and had a worn lobe.
Broke down one day on the way home from work and had just happened to stop in and buy an entire parts store NOS. Throttle cable broke and the NOS was Lada (which used linkages). A bit of trusty TPS wire got me home.
Now has a 1600cc Lancia Supercharged motor in it.
Modifications
Had an 1800 Fiat twin cam.
Now has 1600 Lancia Supercharged Twin Cam with Toyota SC12 supercharged. Lowered, 2" exhaust, mags.
