History
I am building a track car based on a new Austin Healey 100 chassis and using this original Ausca body, which was copied from the Maserati A6GCS of the time. Paul England built and raced a Holden powered car, and sold around 20 other bodies that were put onto TR, MG, Healey or custom chassis. My red coupe once had one of these bodies on it. I’m using Healey 100 running gear, but an Alfa 1750 twin cam motor and gearbox in the interests of keeping the weight down and avoiding bonnet bulges! Chassis now runs & drives, body is painted and fitted. Car is now complete - weighs 700kg. First outing at Lakeside 5th December 2013
Car now sold and resident in NSW
