History
In December of 2019, I purchased this vehicle sight unseen from a 71 year old man in Brisbane. It has been a dream to own a GC8 WRX Sedan and to be able to restore it to the way I wanted it.
As prices were going up, I picked it up in a little rough condition. And wanted to make it an STi look alike, as far as I’m aware there was never a face lifted STi in red released in Australia.
After many months of planning, I finally got to work and started the restoration, all body work and repairs were carried out by myself. I replaced nearly every panel on the car to get the straightest look. Painting was done by my fathers smash repair shop.
It has mainly been put back together, still awaiting a few more parts from Japan to have windscreens installed, otherwise it has turned out better than I had ever imagined.
