History
The Porsche 645 RS, also known 'Micky Maus' was a one off special build to bridge the gap between the 550 and the 550 A. It was raced during the 1956 season by Richard von Frankenberg at the Nurburgring, Solitude and Avus. It saw its demise at the Avus as it crashed over the embankment with Frankenberg miraculously surviving.
During its short existence it played an important roll in the development of the 550 A and the RSK Spyders.
The original vehicle was so badly damaged by fire that is was scrapped by the factory. Only its legend survives, until now.
Having secured blueprints, we have decided to reconstruct this piece of history using as many original parts as possible.
