History
I imported this vehicle from Portland usa in 2008 , I purchased it off a lady who had just divorced her husband and this was all she could get out of him , The car was in very poor condition, a sort of rat rod , the roof had been chopped and never finished, the vehicle had no paint, trim seats or side glass, it did have air bags and a front sub frame from a Camaro with a 305 , the vehicle had no wiring except for 1 stop light and headlight ,ignition was hot wired , it ran enough to move .It had also some rust repairs done but quite poorly , I knew it would be a full resto prior to purchase and the price as based accordingly , On arrival at home i purchased parts to restore the vehicle over 12mths and then started the resto and further modifications , a trip to the USA and a meeting with Gene Winfield at his shop helped with a lot of missing parts , Car is now fully restored, registered and I enjoy doing the hot rod runs in it, 2nd custom at Summernats 2014
