Modifications
This is our Parts Bin Racer. The only components that were used which were not available in 1972 was the exhaust rap, exhaust clamp, revision mirrors and tyres. Even the new head bushes were modified second hand parts from a Mirage jet engine built in the early 60s. All parts were NOS (new old spares) manufactured in the 60s or 70s or are rebuilt parts from the shed.
Great care was taken to ensure that nothing was modified that could not easily be unbolted, returning the bike to original.
The exhaust pipe was created from a few 60s exhaust pipes we had lying around the shed in order to keep with the authenticity of the bike. I am still looking for a genuine 60s early 70s pipe that I can modify to better suit the bike.
