History
Bought as a one-owner from a lady in St Ives, NSW in late 1989. She literally had driven it once a week to do the groceries, had the factory mag wheels fitted because she was allergic to air conditioning (so didn't spend the extra on that) and cried when I drove it away. Had 16,000kms on it and drove like a new car. It was an auto but I put a 240Z or 240K 5-speed into it. It was a Jul or Aug 1976 model, so unfortunately just came in for the emissions control rules when it was built.
Sold in 1997, it was a head over heart decision which I still regret as I loved the car. Did a lot of kms in it, to Townsville and back twice, weekly runs up Bells Line of Road and out to Lithgow, Old Pacific Highway etc as I worked shift work and often had days off during the working week. I think it still only had around 130,000kms on it when I sold it.
Modifications
Aside from the switch of auto to manual, no other mods.
