History
Car is an original Lancia Montecarlo which was heavily rusted. The Lancia Montecarlo centre tub was used as the starting point of the famous Group B Lancia Rally 037 from 1982 to 1984.
The original Monte loses the front and rear (Cut off), then the complete rear is remade and strengthened before a space frame tubular chassis is added front and back. Fiberglass front and rear replace the original. To date I have cut up the original car and it is currently being acid dip before I begin the rebuild.
This will be another 10 year build to complement my Fiat 131 Abarth Group 4 build. Come along and enjoy a series of videos which will be posted over the years to come.
Modifications
Rear modified to include new rear crossmember, cabin to motor access structure and strengthing, Space Frame Chassis, Fiberglass front and rear, Fiat 16V Supercharged motor fitted longitude and Pantera transaxle.
