History
Started the project after buying an original 16V Abarth Group 4 cylinder head. Then decided to buy a Fiat 131R to start the build. After the head acquired the genuine suspension and hubs from a Group 4. After that obtained the missing original bits from an Italian completing restoration work on original Group 4 cars who had started to refabricate the parts. I was at the point of did I want half a replica or a true replica. In this case the car is a true replica and the only thing not original is the chassis stamp. It has been a long journey but well worth it.

Memories
I have had this car since 2006 and spend 10 years on converting from a Fiat 131 2 door sport to a 131 2 door Abarth group 4. Using original parts tracked all over the world and a couple of genuine by design remade parts it is always a work in progress. But enjoyable to drive! The 131 Abarth Group 4 is a passion being lived by the owner.
