History
"Groot" is a 1945 Dodge power wagon, it was removed from a military dump out of Palestine. It served the LRDG ( Long Range Desert Group) Australian Army.
There have been some Mods to update it and to make it more usable for the charity fundraising it does.
Engine; Cummins 6BT 5.9 Turbo inter cooler.
Drive Line: Getrag 360 5 speed, Danna 60 and 70 Diffs.
Custom leaf suspension by Brisbane springs.
The rear has fold out beds each side, 3000 Watt inverter, Coffee Mach. Recaro seats and a 80Lt fridge.
Groot has only been in 4WD 5 times to this day and two of them I forgot to lock the hubs.
