I previously owned this car about 30 years ago when I did it up ( red motor, 4 speed ,interior trim) and painted it gun metal grey.At the time I lived in Qld and visited W.A. at least once a year sometimes three times after 5 years and about 15 trips across the nullabor and one trip around Australia I sold the car to a mate. About 8 years ago I came across it rusting away on another mates property, he immediately tried flogging it back to me.3 years ago I weakened and brought out of sentimental reasons This time I have done a full metal restoration on the car which has included the complete floor some firewall sills doors (skins and frames) and I have it nearly ready to paint.
