Prior history unknown. Purchased by me in 1979 in the Adelaide Hills area. Largely original condition with a new roof and fitted with wire wheels from a previous model. Fully registered after some tidy up was used club and every day for quite a few years then a cosmetic restoration was undertaken, new chrome, upholstery and paint, mechanical repairs as required. Original style easy clean steel wheels refitted. Several engine changes over the time but in 2002 the original motor was rebuilt and still in use. On club registration for past 25 years. It was driven to the Bay to Birdwood around 2004, has been driven to Brisbane and Canberra over the years. One of only two known '37 DX tourers in RWC. The body is a GM-H design only used in Australia.
