I bought it in 1971 from a guy who worked in a factory in South Rd, Moorabbin for $300.00. I wanted a Mini Moke but they were all $100.00 more than I had. My mate worked for the Post Office putting in phones ( ask your mum ) and he found it and told me about it. I did trips everywhere in it, down to Portsea with a girlfriend and up to Birchip in the Mallee with a mate. My dad and I got it bored10 thou and got its crank ground by Dandy Rebores. We put new pistons and new bearings in it and a Wade cam. It wasn't that fast but I did a few motorkhanas on dirt with the Sprite Club and did Morwell Hillclimb when it was half dirt.
Modifications
Wade cam and wiper aerofoils and a few bumper stickers.
