History
Purchased as a project car in poor condition in 1994 with the aim of competing Targa Tasmania and other tarmac rallies. 1st raced in Targa 1996 to 3rd in class. Competed in Targa Tas in 1997 to 1st in Category and 1st in class beating all others including Porches and V8 Toranas and Fords. Competed Targa Tas in 1998 to 1st in class. Race record was 9 class wins from 11 starts, 1 second place and 1 DNF. Sold to mainland in 1998.
Modifications
Ran in Standard Spec class so modifications were limited ie. no changes to body structural stiffness, suspension pickup points, induction, ignition, and wheel diameter. Engine internal modifications were free.
