I cant remember who I bought this car off or where I went to get it but I remember bringing it home as proud as punch. It was very rough and the gearbox cover was in the boot so all the hot air came up into the cabin.I convinced my mother to come for a ride and she wanted to get out before we got out of the driveway!!
After a few thrills and a lot of heat she swore she would never get into my car again! After only a couple of months I started to strip it down in my Grandmothers garage and had the engine and gearbox rebuilt, stripped all the paint and bog off, removed all the suspension and had it chromed and took the seats for reupholstering. Well I never saw the seats again and I moved the whole lot to my new house and lost interest in the project selling it as as basket case ($2000) to a friend of a friend just around the corner in Eltham North. To this day I never found out if he ever finished it
Modifications
Rebuilt head by HeadMod in Melbourne to hi specs and the lower motor was near standard.
