History
Purchased cycle with low k's original Evo 1340 engine. Stock cycle. After a number of yrs & klms of riding the a** off it, the Evo was up for freshen up. Well, I was referred to a "Specialist mechanic" who did his thing, heads, barrels, etc,etc. (New engine). Day of pick up, bike was tuned & test rode. Luckily not far. Engine went"BANG". BAD, all BAD!!!
"Specialized mechanic" came & recovered me & bike & gathered a torrent of abuse for his efforts.
After some discussion he offered to "give" me a replacement engine & pointed to an S&S 106cu".
I instantly asked, "will it fit?"
I don't think I even heard "Specialized mechanic" & had it in the front seat of the car in a heartbeat as I contemplated how I was going to fit this cranky little thing into my Low Rider frame. Anyway, it's in & registered, unpainted but that's happening as we speak.(I'll post updated pics)

Stock 1996 FXDL(cycle)frame,
106cu" S&S @ 154HP,
5 speed Andrews geared box, 3" BDL Open Prime,
chain final drive.
Is currently being stripped for paint, Black of course!!!
