History
Bedford HA converted by Dormobile in the factory prior to being first sold. Last registered in 1981 in Victoria. It has had 6 owners before we bought it in 2018.
It has now been refurbished inside and was registered in Queensland in April 2019. It won runner up for best Bedford at the VOCA National Rally in 2019. The motor was rebuilt in June that year ready for joining the Vauxhall tag-a-long tour from Kununurra to Kalgoorlie starting in August.
As we live in Brisbane it was a round Australia trip. Taking three months and 18,500 klms. Space was tight, so tools, jack, etc, were stored under the bonnet. With 36hp on tap forward progress is leisurely. A 30litre fuel tank ensured that we met every service station attendant in Australia. Still used regularly on Club Runs.
Modifications
Power assisted disc brakes, were available as an option when new.
