Sad story on this our previous Camry was totaled by a txter driving into the back of the car - it was my Grandfathers 1994 Camry we had owned for 16 years only 170000kms - like new!
Bought a 1600 Corolla hatch from a neighbour while we sorted out insurance and what to do for a replacement car! Sold it after getting the new car for the same money we bought it! I had touched up the paint and tweaked the engine but it was a handy stop gap!
New Camry has 4000km today after we drove 800km through the southwest for a holiday last week - cruise control on a dual carriageway is so easy driving!
Managed 4.8L/100km on one leg of the trip! Overall average 9L/100km with gravel roads and huge hills around Manjimup!
Modifications
Tow bar and darkest legal tint. Paint and fabric treatment - no more polishing the wife's car!
