I got the car as a wreck.....incredibly delapidated. Mind you, all the hard to get bits were pretty much there, and it was an R Series after all. I figured on using the car as a bit of a hobby to see what I could make of it. It took 3 years, but pretty much did most of the work myself, that's what makes it special.
I've tried to make it as authentic as possible, even removing the disc brakes a previous owner installed and reverting to drums. The motor is a genuine R block, which I fully reconditioned.I can honestly say there's almost nothing on the car I didn't fix, renew or replace.
If you saw how it originally looked, you wouldn't believe it got to where it is now. Really happy with it.
