This year is the time to convert to turbo power.
I started asking around workshops at the end of last year, no one had done a similar swap recently, but assured me it could be done. But the price!
Then a car that already had the conversion done was wrecked and I was lucky enough to pick it up.
It was relatively easy to swap engines, but unfortunately, buying a car site un-seen has it's perils. Turns out the seals inside the turbo are toast. So we've driven a wonderful 30km with a smokey turbo and now it's parked while I try to remove rusted on nuts and the like in order to remove the turbo. I've already picked up a stock replacement, hopefully it will have survived to let this wonderful Sera see the light of day again!
