Bought in 1991. First registered in 1998. Owned for 21 years before selling to another enthusiast.
Modifications
⢠Davis Craig cooling with radiator shroud.
⢠MSD 6AL ignition.
⢠Mallory Dizzy and (very powerful) Mallory Coil.
⢠Chassis extensively modified for better handling by Weldwell Engineering (Brisbane). Car is comfortable to drive yet corners on rails.
⢠Jag Running gear with Spax shocks, re-valved to suit chassis changes. Jag LSD.
⢠Aaron Collingwood Ford 302W power plant, stroked to 347cc (5.7L). Scatt crank, rods and hypereutectic pistons. Alloy Edelbrock (ported by Aaron) heads, Edelbrock valves. Twin IMCO 425 gas carburettors on Offenhauser single plane twin port manifold. Roller Cam Shaft individually ground to suit gas and engine. Roller Rockers. Original dyno figures of 420 Flywheel HP (approx 313Kw).
⢠GONZO two inch primaries into 2 1/2 inch system. Headers are black ceramic coated, rest of system is silver ceramic coated.
⢠Alloy (light weight) flywheel (with steel ring gear) into Mal Wood five speed alloy gearbox, good for 450hp.
⢠Tilton high torque starter motor.
⢠Interior fully decked out in leather by Gadenne Motor Trimmers.
⢠Traditional Smiths style gauges to leather dash.
⢠Full weather kit including tonneau and soft top.
