History
Brought into Australia as a grey import in 2002 as a brand new vehicle, this V.spec II Nur R34 GT-R was originally purchased by a well-known collector who owned the Gibson Motorsport Group A Nissan race cars from the 1990s, including the famous Winfield R32 GT-R driven by Jim Richards and Mark Skaife at Bathurst in 1992. The Nur designation was given to the final series of R34 GT-Rs in 2002 to commemorate Nissan’s production car record at the Nurburgring. This vehicle is one of only 750 V.spec II Nurs produced. The Nur editions received a full N1-spec RB26DETT engine including upgraded turbochargers, reinforced block, pistons, conrods and balanced crankshaft, as well as upgraded oil and water pumps.
