History
My 1966 Chevy C10 was a complete frame off resto. The pickup was stripped, sanded, and repainted from front to back. After taking the body and bed off the frame, we converted the truck to right hand drive and the suspension was completely rebuilt from front to back including instulation of an Accuair air ride bag system. The front has 3” drop spindles and the rear has 5” notched chassie to get the ride height looking nice and low. The steering box is an XF Falcone power steering box fitted to the out side on the right hand side of the chassie. The truck has new front and rear discs brakes, and a new CPP master cylinder. The truck handles and brakes very nicely and feels great with a nice ride. The engine is a rebuilt 350, 4-bolt main block that was bored to 355 CI. It uses an Edelbrock Victor Jnr aluminum intake, Holley sniper fuel injetion, Lunati cam, Edelbrock E-Street aluminum heads. The transmission is a Turbo700 R overdrive transmission and the rear end is a 9" Trutrack. Keeping things cool is a Desert cooler aluminum radiator with 3 thrmo fans, and the truck uses an Mallory Billet Comp distributor. The pickup has a set of ceramic coated Hugger headers and a dual exhaust system. The engine runs nice and cool while making great cruiser power. The C10 has all new glass rubber seals, new chrome bumpers, and a new chrome grill as well as head light srounds. The bed wood is twice kiln dried redgum and was finished with a layer of epoxy firber glass layer sanded and polished. All of the bed hardware is stainless steel, the interior features new english carpet ford Au Falcon split bench made 4 inches wider to fit the truck, complete dapper tan leather interior new paint and all new wiring.
