This Kombi had a P76 Leyland all alloy 4.5lt V8 for motivation. i had nothing to do with the conversion. It was done by an elderly Dutch man that lived near me growing up. He cut off the back of the Kombi and extended it by 5' to fit the engine in undetected. The only clue was the radiator on the front but then again a lot Kombi getting around at the time also had 4cyc water cooled conversion so that wasn't unusual. It sure gave more than a few a big surprise leaving a set of traffic lights though !!.
