History
I purchased this car as a deceased estate. Was in primer, engine and body kit fitted. Motor was sieved.
Came off the road in 1982 and was converted to V8 in the early 1990s. I purchased the car around 2005 along with a mountain of parts and another 4cyl capri.
I have slowly progressed with this project has time and cash became available. Apart from the bodywork and paint, I have (re-done) all the mechanical work.
Modifications
1970 4 cylinder shell. Fibreglass bonnet, guards, bootlid and escort bubble arches.
Alloy roll cage
CSR chassis kit (modified as it didn't fit properly)
302 Windsor
T5 5spd with Au (passenger side starter) Dellow sandwich-plate
EL XR6 LSD
Big brake upgrade - Falcon disks, Commodore callipers
Cobra race buckets
Custom gauges.
Still to do.....Wiring, induction, radiator/cooling, bias pedal box.
Completion date late 2018....With any luck!!!!
