History
I was driving home from an international 4 day enduro in Cessnock in 1979 ,towing my bike and trailer, when the car conked out in a residential area near Hornsby. It couldn't get up the next rise. Hence why they're called " rolls canardly" -Rolls down the hills and can hardly get up the other side.
There was a very wide median strip outside the houses, so I rolled to a stop, pitched my tent & slept there the night. I woke up at about 7am to much traffic noise.
I would probably be the only person ever to pitch a tent next to a busy arterial Sydney road. Whenever I think about it I laugh.
Modifications
I sent the engine away to get "Blueprinted" (Worked).I got all the engine covers chromed. It could really go off the rev range. Ahh , the things you do when you're young !
