Purchased this bike in the early eighties riding it for about four to five years then it retired to the farm shed for the next twenty years to about 2007. I dragged it out of the shed and got it running again with the aim to just tidy it up a bit to put it back on the road. However, after getting the tank/tail and side panels repainted and fitting them to the bike it looked odd with a shinny tank and panels I then decided to completely over hall the whole bike including reconditioning the motor/gearbox. So the bike was completely stripped down to a bare frame and fully restored.
Modifications
Exhaust system is a transact system for the reason I couldn't find an original exhaust system in my price range. The pictures show I have the low lying sports handle bars we used back in the eighties. Since this rebuild I have now have the original handle bars fitted, this gives a more comfortable riding position.
