History
Was originally sold new in NZ's South Island in 1974. I purchased car in Auckland in 1984, & had it as my sole vehicle for a few years but typically only used it at weekends. Installed a substitute rebuilt motor in late '90's but sadly that never ran right so took the car off the road & put it into dry storage. I brought it over to Qld in 2007. Have since replaced problematic motor with another 260Z motor, but due to circumstances the car remains in limbo. My intention is to have the original numbers matching motor rebuilt & reinstalled when time & finances permit.
Nice original car in unusually tidy virtually rustfree original condition, due to car being heavily rustproofed when purchased, & always being garaged & fussed over. Interior is very good. Dash is almost perfect, has only some very minor crazing.
15" x 7" aftermarket wheels fitted in lieu of 14" x 6" factory alloys which are in storage. Black vinyl seats were retrimmed with fabric facings years ago.
CD player fitted in lieu of factory radio/tape player. Otherwise pretty much as left the factory.
Only body panel replaced is the bonnet due to damage along LH leading edge, incurred prior to my ownership, being too problematic to repair.
