History
Complete build-up from back-to-bare-metal by owner from a good sound A-code rolling shell imported from USA. Project took about 5-6 yrs from strip-down to on-road registration, & owner chose not to pursue factory original correctness in the full restoration but instead to meet own personal tastes and requirements.
Painted in Ford's Galaxy Blue with silver Le Mans stripes; repro 60's era hood tach; deluxe interior fitted incl upper & lower consoles, brushed metal dash & door trims; fold-down back seat; cobra valve covers; export braces; GT option parts - foglamps, steering wheel, power disc brakes, flip open gas cap, twin exhausts.
Modifications
14" 5-spoke alloy wheels; CD player; Shelby-style fibreglass body panels - vented hood, trunk, side scoops. High back seats from '70 in lieu of low backs.
Remains in LHD form as am quite used to it & don't wish to change it.
Drives nicely, steers well & brakes are excellent. Nice rumbly exhaust note, good for the soul.
