History
This vehicle was purchased new. It was purchased the month before the XD was released. Always wanted the 5.8 Litre. Only two were left in Australia. One had no options the other was fully optioned. I bought the fully optioned model and went into debt to own it. Drove and loved it for eight years. Sold to another fan of the XC GXL. Saw it on the roads for the next ten years.
Modifications
I wanted it kept original. Only changes made was that I added the bonnet clips which took the Panel Beaters - Sunny Autos two days to install as the bonnet needed to be realigned for the clips to work. Changed the radiator from the constant on to the new XD 5.8 L fan.
