History
The only reason I sold the Skyline was because I had just lost my licence for 6 months and didn't want to look at it everyday and not be able to drive it. After about 5 months I purchased my RX7. I'm a massive rotor fanatic and just had to own one eventually. I have a mate who has owned a few rotors and he told me before I even purchased the car, that it would be the car I have the most fun in and he wasn't wrong, it is still one of my favourites to this day. Hearing that buzzer go off when hitting redline was the best feeling.
Modifications
The car was in good condition for it's age, it just needed a good cut back and polish and that's the first thing I did. The motor was rebuilt 50,000 kms ago, so the standard port 12a was running fine. A few other things on the list were a deck and speaker upgrade, ISA51N numberplates and new rear muffler with a 4inch chrome dumpy which gave it a nice note.
