History
A boilermaker / welder by trade. I gave up coaching rugby for more time at home with the family purchased a 63 beetle from Moama in Vic which upon disassembly had too much rust. I found another 63 rolling chassis on ebay in Gosford which I won the bid and went and picked up. Between the 2 cars this is what ended up. All the work was done by myself in my garage with the exception of the engine build ( much to the disgust of my neighbours no doubt with all of the panel beating and 2 pack paint fumes blowing all over their washing ) . The project took about 3 1/2 yrs on weekends and spare time. Plenty of mods and differentiating features from others of this era,
